What we collect

• Account details you give us when you sign up: your name, email address and phone number.
• Listings you post (apartments, dirahs, vacation rentals, driver and business pages), including photos and contact details you choose to share.
• Messages and contact requests you send through the site, and questions you submit to Jerusalem Answers.
• Orders placed with businesses on their DirectJLM pages, so the business can fulfil them.
• Basic usage information (pages viewed, approximate device type) that helps us see what works and fix what doesn't.

How we use it

• To run the site: show listings, let members contact owners, and send the emails you expect (for example, "your listing is live" or "someone contacted you").
• When you send a contact request or an order, we pass the details you entered to that owner or business so they can reply to you.
• To keep the community safe: we review new members and listings, and we can remove content or accounts that break our rules.
• To improve DirectJLM.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give it to advertisers. Street addresses and owners' phone numbers and emails are shown only to signed-in members, and only where the owner chose to share them.

Who else handles data

We use trusted service providers to host the site, store data, send email and process payments. They handle data only to provide those services to us. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your language and keep the site working.

Your choices

• You can edit or delete your listings from your account at any time.
• You can change which emails you receive in your profile.
• You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information by emailing us.
